Hello, I’m Shawn Michael Nichols. I launch business and corporate achievers by helping them organize, focus and deliver on their goals.

People considering change often need to see their experience and potential in new ways before they can overcome whatever is holding them back. Because I have more than 30-years experience creating and sustaining businesses in finance, real estate agency, construction, and health, I can “speak the language” of many in the corporate and non-profit world. Having worked in for-profit and non-profit ventures in New York City, San Francisco, Atlanta, and the U.K., I understand the importance of matching businesses to their surrounding market.

I’m currently an Executive/Life Coach, entrepreneur and Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Systems, with degrees in Psychology, Accounting, Economics, and Finance. My life-long connection with learning has helped me to remain passionate about my work. I look forward to working with you as you look for new ways to revitalize your own passions for who you are, and what you do.

As a newcomer in the field of organizational consulting, I have the advantage of being either the naively arrogant child who declares the emperor has no clothes! or the person who comes from a foreign land and is forced to quickly confront the differences in the visible and communicated culture.

When I decided to change careers in my early 40s, I sought a profession that could help me develop an understanding of people’s behavior. After exploring psychology, I turned to the field of organizational development.

An industry that heals human foibles and eccentricities has so much opportunity and potential that it could not fail, I thought. Its existence is assured. Besides, everyone benefits from the opportunity to talk to someone who listens in a deeply reflective, active way and can provide feedback in an understanding manner. So, as a budding organizational consultant, inquiry and engagement are my calling.

Thank you for checking in with me today. If you’re here, then you are looking for answers to questions in your life or transformation and change in your current situation. This is a welcome spot for establishing and implementing goals, guided reflection and shared information. I am here to help you transition through life in a healthy and positive way.

If there is one thing my individual and group clients say consistently: ‘Shawn, you have been my agent for change. The ideas have been our own but you understood us and gave us new perspectives, depth and most of all – energy. New exciting energy that moved us forward.’

How does this happen? I have long experience in personal and corporate negotiation and conflict resolution, the ability to see the strengths and weaknesses of a plan or program and excitement of being part of or a catalyst for dream-making and goal fulfillment.

Congratulations!

You are about to take an important step into an incredible new future. The most important asset you have is yourself and it’s time to consider an investment in your equity. Coaching is a highly effective process that supports individuals and teams in creating desirable lives, successful strategies and resounding results. I coach my clients by providing perspective, support and focus as they achieve business and personal goals.YOU KNOW THE VALUE OF A PHYSICAL TRAINER. Those who relied on a coach know how the team did as well as they did. Now is the time to have a COACH of your own – tailor-made to your needs and plans. Coaching is ideal for designing your business and corporate trajectory. Weed out the fears that may be holding you back. Free up energy, reducing your stress and creating the life you want and not the life or career someone else wants to you to have!

The introductory session is FREE!

1.707.840.4625

Most individual sessions are once a week at a prearranged time, convenient for your current schedule. I recommend 8 – 12 sessions over a three-month period but you are never charged for more than four (one month) at a time.*

How long have you been DREAMING about the perfect job, company or start-up?

Contact me now to start the biggest positive change of your life. A new life – the one you thought might happen ‘some day’.*Refunds are given if you are not satisfied for the unused prepaid sessions. 48 Hours Notice must be given to reschedule or cancel one or the balance of sessions.

Workshops for the Business and Personal Environment (Copyright, 2008)

Responsibility: The Real Reward

Working on the premise that we are our own worst and best judges this workshop helps to identify the lost meaning of integrity. Bringing each individual to the point of self-honesty, the participants help themselves to the self satisfaction they deserve.

The Canoe and The Ocean

We refuse responsibility for the most destructive of our actions and words. Yet we we will blame ourselves for events out of our control. How do we come to terms with what we can ultimately change and what are the forces outside our power? This workshop helps to develop a more objective observation and process conflict.

The Hands

This powerful instrument of our needs, desires, loves and destruction is also our companion, protector and resides with us for our entire lives like no other being. As an agent of change it does our bidding and as a nurturer provides us with all manner of sustenance. A workshop on the power of hands and a meditation on the life they lead apart and in concert with our mind. This is a calming, centering program for balance in life and strenghtening our actions and resolve.

Managing Relationships

Without them, we are lost. They have the power to delight or ruin us. How do we make the most of our relationships and how do we build new ones? The skills of relationships cannot be underestimated. Personality, the key to relationships is a major factor in our everyday success. Whether we are finding the right person or dealing with co-workers, managing those moments can lead to gratification and success. This is a workshop for discovering our own original personality and using it to our happiness and satisfaction.

(Copyright, 2008)

Simple Steps, Complex Problem Solving

This a thorough series of sessions on the non-judgmental use of a problem solving model that gets to the core of our pattern of thoughts and actions that keep us rooted in place. Unable to evolve past a myriad of adaptive coping skills we fall back on old behaviors. Opening a dialogue of personal and professional self-reflection, we can can create new thoughts and behaviors by challenging our assumptions and creating new perspectives.
